Eurocentres Vancouver is conveniently located at the intersection of Hastings St. and Howe St. which is the heart of Vancouver’s shopping and business district. For example, from Yaletown, you could take a picturesque foot passenger ferry to Granville Island Market or Science World. Alternatively, you could walk or take a skytrain to a Chinese night market. Commercial Drive Attractions
If you are looking for a relaxed, fun atmosphere, close to the action and full of culture, this is the place for you. Commercial Drive (“the Drive” to locals) teems with people enjoying the sidewalk cafes, Italian coffee and gelato shops, numerous restaurants specializing in international or local foods, and many colourful shops. The Drive is also close to Trout Lake, with the skytrain on its doorstep and at the heart of the Eastside Culture Crawl Arts Festival in the Fall. As you leave Vancouver for Victoria, sailing through some of the most spectacular islands in the world, the scenery will take your breath away. For those with time on their hands, a stop on Salt Spring Island, Pender Island or at any of the other numerous little island communities should definitely be on the itinerary.
